School ERP Development

A school ERP connects administrative workflows; it is different from the public school website. We begin with the school’s current records and a small number of priority tasks, then define who can view, change, approve, and export each type of information.

Select modules by operational priority

Attendance, fees, admissions, and notices can be released in stages. Each module needs a record owner, an exception workflow, and an acceptance test. A long feature list without those decisions is not a reliable estimate.

  • Student/staff records and class assignment rules.
  • Attendance corrections and approvals.
  • Fee schedules, receipts, and reconciliation.
  • Parent/staff roles with restricted access.

Treat migration as a project task

Inspect the existing spreadsheets or system exports, agree identifiers, and test a small import. Resolve duplicate records and missing fields before loading a complete dataset. Backups and restoration procedures must be assigned to a responsible team.

The school must approve data-handling requirements with appropriate qualified advice. The software design alone should not be described as proof of compliance.

Build around permissions and auditable changes

A relational database can model classes, students, fee records, and term relationships. Next.js/React interfaces and Node.js services are options where they fit. We define authentication, access checks, event logs, exports, and integration requirements before implementation.

Pilot a term or module with staff

We document the workflow, build a prototype, and test approved sample records. A pilot lets office staff reconcile reports against existing records and practise corrections. Training, migration, support, and any parallel-running period form part of the launch plan.

Pricing and Scope

Published web application packages start at ₹29,999 for the Starter scope and ₹59,999+ for Business. A named solution is not automatically included at the starting price: integrations, migration, permissions, and support determine the final estimate.

Questions Before You Start

Can the public school website and ERP share a design?

Yes, but public publishing and private records need separate access controls and deployment decisions. The public site can link to an agreed portal.

Is every ERP module included in the starting price?

No. Module count, record migration, payment integration, reporting, and training determine scope and cost.
