Online Booking System Development

A booking system must decide whether a resource is available when a customer requests it. We define capacity, timing, confirmation, and cancellation rules before building the interface. A simple callback request may be sufficient if staff confirm every appointment manually.

Model the thing being booked

Choose whether capacity belongs to a staff member, room, table, vehicle, or shared event. Specify durations, buffers, holidays, working hours, and time zones. Two simultaneous requests should not receive the same final slot.

  • Availability checks and clear confirmation states.
  • Staff changes and blocked-out periods.
  • Rescheduling, cancellations, and no-show handling.
  • Customer and staff notification preferences.

Agree payment and failure behaviour

A payment attempt and a confirmed booking are different events. Decide when a slot is held, how long it remains held, and what happens if payment fails or the provider notification arrives late. Refund rules must come from the business; the application implements the agreed policy.

Test concurrency and provider callbacks

A Next.js/React interface with a transactional backend can support scheduling, but the important work is validation, permissions, and consistent state changes. Payment and calendar integrations need test accounts and documented provider constraints.

Pilot one schedule before adding locations

We prototype the customer journey, test two customers requesting the same slot, and review the staff calendar. A pilot verifies reminders, cancellations, payments where included, and manual overrides. Launch follows agreed acceptance criteria, not simply a successful screen demo.

Pricing and Scope

Published web application packages start at ₹29,999 for the Starter scope and ₹59,999+ for Business. A named solution is not automatically included at the starting price: integrations, migration, permissions, and support determine the final estimate.

Questions Before You Start

Can we start with a reservation request form?

Yes. If staff confirm availability manually, a clearly labelled request form may fit a website scope. Live availability and automatic confirmation are a separate application scope.

Do all booking systems need payment?

No. Decide whether payment is necessary for your business process. Adding deposits or full payments changes confirmation, refund, and failure rules.
