Ayurvedic medical store software is billing and stock software set up for traditional medicine products: classical formulations such as arishtams, lehyams and churnams, proprietary brands, raw herbs, oils and, in homeopathy, remedies in many potencies. It records each product's form, unit and batch, and bills them the way your counter actually sells them.

A Siddha or Ayurvedic store often sells the same classical formulation from three or four manufacturers alongside its own preparation. Customers ask for it by its traditional name, so the software groups these under one name while keeping each manufacturer's stock, rate and batches separate.

For products you make yourself, each production run is entered as a batch: raw herbs and ingredients consumed, quantity produced, batch number and dates. Raw material stock is reduced automatically and the finished batch appears in saleable stock with its own cost, so you can see the margin on house-made items versus bought brands.

A customer may buy one sealed bottle of thailam, 100 grams of a churnam weighed from a bulk pack and a homeopathy remedy in a specific potency, all on one bill. The software stores a purchase unit and a sales unit for every product, so a 1 kg pack of powder is sold in grams and stock drops correctly.

Homeopathy pharmacies can keep each remedy in several potencies and forms without creating hundreds of unrelated items. The billing screen asks for potency and size after the remedy is chosen, which keeps the item list short and stock accurate.

Many Ayurvedic, Siddha and homeopathy practitioners consult and dispense from the same room. A combined bill shows the consultation fee and medicines separately, and the patient's visit history stores what was given each time, so a repeat visit can reuse the last prescription.

Loose and house-made items need a label when they leave the counter. The software prints labels with product name, batch number, dates, quantity, dosage instructions and your store details on a label printer, using the layout you choose.
